I don’t know about you, but most of my calls lately are robo calls. They are annoying and I can’t always tell that it’s a robo call anymore, especially when the number appears to be local. There are a few things you can do to cut back on these unwanted calls.
- Assign Contacts – this seems obvious, but not everyone does it. When you get a call from someone you actually want to talk to, add them to your contacts right away. Once you have done this you can block all callers not on your contact list.
- Assign ringtones – you can assign everyone in your contact list the same ringtone, and you can also assign unique ringtones to specific people that you talk to often. If you don’t hear a ringtone you recognize, don’t answer that call.
- Make your own do not call list- Now that you have created contacts and added ringtones, you can have your phone send all other callers to voicemail by only accepting calls from your contacts.
- Register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry- click HERE to go to the website.
