As we prepare for the coming year, 2015, the State of Michigan has made some changes to the process of Quarterly Unemployment tax returns. All employers (no matter how many employees) will have to file their quarterly unemployment returns electronically. This requires a MIWAM account. You may have set one up already but if you do not have an account please create a MIWAM account soon. www.michigan.gov/uia
Once you have set up your MIWAM account or if you already have a MIWAM account please let us know. We can then be added as service providers (we do this through our account).

The second change is to inform you that electronically paid State of Michigan withholding taxes will need to be sent electronically on a monthly basis beginning in 2015.
